Better work starts with understanding what's happening.
Consulting and training for organizations that want to communicate more effectively, navigate challenges, and better support the people doing the work.
How I can help
The people side of work can get complicated.
Whether you're supporting a team, managing people, or doing difficult work on the front lines, knowing how to respond isn't always straightforward. I help organizations understand the challenges they're facing and respond more effectively.
Communication &
difficult conversations
Communicate clearly when the conversation is uncomfortable, emotions are running high, or what needs to be said is hard to say.
Supporting people in challenging roles
Support supervisors and frontline staff doing demanding people-facing work, including managing difficult interactions, navigating competing demands, and figuring out what to do when there isn’t an obvious answer.
Boundaries & expectations
Set clearer expectations, establish appropriate boundaries, and navigate the tension that can come with holding them.
Conflict & de-escalation
Understand what's driving an interaction, recognize when things are escalating, and respond in ways that help rather than make things worse.
CONSULTING & TRAINING
Two ways to work together.
Some challenges call for focused skill-building. Others benefit from having a place to think through what’s happening and what to do next.

training
Build skills your team can actually use.
Interactive sessions focused on the situations people encounter in their work. Trainings can address communication, boundaries, difficult conversations, conflict, de-escalation, and other challenges specific to your team or setting.

CONSULTING
Think through the situations that don’t have easy answers.
Consultation provides a place to step back, make sense of what’s happening, and think through how to respond. It can support leaders navigating people-related challenges or frontline staff working through difficult situations as they arise.

Why work with me
I’ve spent my career working with people.
I’ve seen workplace challenges from a lot of different sides: as the person doing the day-to-day work, the person supporting and managing others, the person developing and coordinating programs, and the person teaching and training professionals. That perspective shapes how I approach the work I do with organizations now.
At the end of the day, people are people.
Different roles and settings create different challenges, but many of the things that help us communicate, learn, manage emotions, set boundaries, and work through conflict are remarkably similar.
Direct work with people
I’ve spent years working directly with people navigating difficult emotions, relationships, conflict, stress, and change. That work has taught me a lot about how people respond when things get hard, what tends to get in the way, and what can actually help move things forward.
Leading People & Programs
I’ve supervised staff and led programs, which meant thinking about both the people doing the work and the systems around them. I’ve developed workflows and processes, managed day-to-day operations, and seen firsthand how the way work is structured can either support people or make an already difficult job harder.
TEACHING & TRAININg
I started my career as a teacher and have continued teaching and training throughout my work in mental health. I’ve developed curriculum, led workshops, trained professionals, and helped run large-scale peer education and train-the-trainer programs, including a university program that trained 60 student educators and reached more than 3,000 students.
How it works
From first conversation to a clear plan
Here’s what happens when you reach out.
01
Reach out
Tell me a little about your organization and what brings you here. You may know exactly what you’re looking for, or you may just know that something isn’t working. You don’t need to have the next step figured out yet.
02
Talk it through
We’ll talk through your goals, your team, and the challenges you’re dealing with. From there, we’ll determine what kind of support makes the most sense.
03
Get a clear proposal
I’ll take what we discussed and put together a recommendation for how we could work together, including what that would look like, the timeline, and cost. You can decide from there whether you’d like to move forward.
Let's start the conversation.
Whether you have something specific in mind or are still figuring out what would be helpful, tell me a little about what’s going on and we can take it from there.
